ready, set, bind!
Did I tell you how much I love Bonnie! She is my long-arm quilter, extraordinaire!
She is a perfectionist and it shows in her workmanship (fast too!!)
She does not have a website, but if you live in the area stop by or give the shop a
call, we can refer you.
The quilting pattern we chose was, hmm! .... something daisy (oops, I don't recall the exact name)
Lucky for us Bonnie's machine can digitize the size. So we went big, big, big daisy's!
Good News! It is finished!
Bad News... we sold out of the quilt kits (boo)
No problem we should have more by the end of the week. I am glad you like it too!

A little cookie... LOVE!

This is by far... My favourite recipe for chocolate chip cookies... ever!
I use an ice-cream scoop to make the cookie making process go a little more quickly.
These are so worth making making with just the right amount of chewy, gooey & crispy goodness.

Charley Harper *inspired by*
This is what I have been working on... it is has been a real slow go for me. Keep in mind my daily "TO DO" is sometimes bigger than I care to admit.
With the thought of Spring just around the corner... I must complete!
I have been fascinated by Charlie Harper and covet the book, "An Illustrated Life". I was lucky enough to have my daughter give it as a Christmas gift a couple of years back.
This "wee" (each fabric measures 2.5") little birdie was inspired by a photo taken of this mural designed by Charley Harper in the downtown Cincinnati John Weld Peck Federal Building.
Oh! Lucky you! If you get to see it in person.
I have been hoarding this fabric from Alexander Henry for some time. The colours in the print inspired the fabric selection for this sweet tweet.

paper hearts
I have only made a bazillion of these hearts. Okay! Just a little exaggeration. But I have made a lot!
I am hoping to create a pretty Valentine's Day garland just in time for the fourteenth.
These cuties are made from old fabric catalogues I had laying around, but you could use scrapbook paper or magazines.
I like to repurpose things to create something new.
- Cut four 1" wide strips
- Two 7" long
- Two 11" long
- staple together
- makes one heart
