Learn to Quilt
Join us for a thoroughly modern take on quilting. This is an absolute beginners class. We just ask that you take the above Rotary Cutting workshop. This is NOT your Grandmother’s quilt as you will learn modern piecing techniques that will knock her socks off. Join today to learn how. You will be making a lap sized quilt.

Machine Quilting
This class is designed to take the mystery out of achieving that perfectly balanced quilting stitch. You will learn how to adjust the upper and lower tensions on you own sewing machine. You will discover the intricate relationships between needle, thread and fabric. From stitching in the ditch to free motion quilting you will gain knowledge, confidence and the skills needed to create beautiful quilts. Join Shelley and Bernie in this fun and informative class.

Binding
Okay! Your quilt is almost done, now all you have left to do is the binding? In this fun and relaxed atmosphere we will teach you the French-fold binding technique with mitered corners. We will also discuss the advantage of bias binding and go through the steps required to achieve it.

This quilt was Inspired by Charley Harper who was a great illustrator and one of my all time favourite artists . These triangles are really big! BIg Big Big! Join us in this casual get together the first Friday night of the Month. We welcome all skill levels to our great Studio space. Bring a project... something new or something you want to finish. We will be here to help you out with some tips & tricks to pass along and great friendships to be had. Limited spaces available, so don’t delay! Kids Spring Break Workshop
Suitable for kids between the ages of 8-16. Join us during Spring Break for this one day workshop. You will complete your very own pillowcase that day and sleep with it that night. Come in prior to the class to select your very own fabrics. No sewing experience required!

You will learn a few techniques in class, half square triangles (the “easiest half square triangle method I have ever seen!”) and a simplified version of foundation piecing.
